Moving your body to the rhythm is a great pleasure. Being in synchronicity with others magnifies the joy of this experience. African dancing offers a playground to experiment with this ancient human form of being connected in vitality.
Kira Kaipainen has been a passionate dancer since early childhood.
After intensive study of bodywork and numerous dance styles, she learned from artists of the National Ballet / Guinea and received further training at the National Institute of Arts in Bamako / Mali.
In remote villages she danced with women who have kept their
traditional style and have never danced in front of a mirror.
Her years of experience in bringing people together in circles and earthy movements have been a journey of love of naturalness beyond cultural barriers.
Dates for workshops with Kira & Nils can be found on the German site. If you are interested in organising workshops or if you would like to take part in online workshops or private lessons for African dance with Kira, please contact: kira@musik-und-innerer-raum.de
